Intacct keeps finding ways to make our lives easier. Intacct has announced their new products along with their intentions to keep adding new features in 2017. Among these new products are a Spend Management Solution and a Contract & Revenue Management Application.
Intacct Spend Management allows organizations to avoid unexpected cash flow issues by governing their spending against budgets. In today’s world, it’s incredibly easy for value to slip through the cracks. This steady drip can amount to huge losses for companies focused on hitting those profitability targets. Companies now more than ever are spending large amounts to stay in budget compliance.
Intacct Spend Management aims to control the efficiency of that process. The new solution provides both buyers and finance team members with the automated controls that are required to efficiently keep spending within budget. This solution comes in handy especially for non-profits, assuring that funds are used to the fullest to achieve the greatest impact. Perhaps the greatest feature of Intacct Spend Management? Peace of mind. The solution provides finance teams with peace of mind that their spending is staying in compliance with policies and budgets.
“Spending across an organization can easily get out of control, but using the right technology can help companies easily manage the spending process with granular control.”
-Dan Miller, VP of Product Management
Intacct also rolled out a new contract and revenue management application that is seeing strong customer adoption in the early phases. Companies across a variety of industries have selected Intacct’s application to automate critical functions including subscription billing, revenue recognition, and reporting from a single source of truth—the customer contract. New requirements brought on by the FASB (Financial Accounting Standards Board) has companies looking for help navigating the complex regulation (ASC 606). A recent survey of top finance executives at mid-sized U.S. companies showed that only 16% of respondents believe their existing core accounting software is equipped to handle ASC 606. Intacct has since taken a leadership role in developing and delivering a comprehensive set of applications.
