Microsoft Acquisition of LinkedIn Shines a Light on Dynamics Product Line

On June 13, 2016 Microsoft announced plans to buy LinkedIn – the professional networking platform. By now, many people know about Microsoft’s $26.2 billion proposed acquisition of LinkedIn, but what most people don’t know is that this acquisition will mean big things for Microsoft Dynamics.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says “Being able to take what LinkedIn has done with the recruiter and talent management solutions, and looking at what are the natural ways to expand Dynamics, is going to be the next set of things that we will do.” The opportunities for Dynamics are limitless.

What is Microsoft Dynamics?

Microsoft Dynamics is a line of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software applications designed to facilitate a variety of essential corporate functions. Microsoft Dynamics CRM provides end-to-end solutions across all main business areas, including: Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Business Intelligence. Dynamics specifically helps your business plan accurately, design & budget your marketing campaigns, efficiently manage customer data and track key performance metrics – among many other things.

Dynamics is scalable and agile – previously when companies had to manage essential corporate functions they would have to find a tool for each, now with Dynamics, you have the foundation already implemented ultimately saving you time and resources. Being able to develop applications to match existing systems as well as implementing new processes is what Dynamics is all about – driving the business forward.

Why Should Your Business Choose Dynamics?

Dynamics helps your business run smoother and more efficiently. Take the example of misplacing customer information or two of your salespeople targeting the same prospect, resulting in each customer going to a competitor. You don’t want that and Dynamics doesn’t let that happen. Having a centralized program to log and track customer interactions, such as Dynamics, your business will never fall behind.

Client Testimonial of Dynamics

Paper House Productions was in desperate need for a new ERP system to make essential functions more efficient. CFO Jo Ann Gamello says “I used to be here ‘til 9 or 10 p.m. trying to download information. Now I get the integrated sales, inventory and purchasing information I need, more easily and quickly, with specific, customized reports.” Dynamics helps businesses get where they need to be – faster and easier. “ADS has given us solutions to several challenges, and hey continue to help us get to where we need to be,” says the Paper House CFO, “like the dynamics CRM system which was recently implemented to assist the marketing arm of the company.” (see more of our Customer Results stories here).
