Microsoft continues to make progress in the ever-so-important area of Office 365. Part of the reason Office 365 has been so successful is because Microsoft is appealing to customers who are driving their own digital transformation.

Another crucial factor driving Office 365’s success: big name customers. Corporations such as Facebook, Hershey and Discovery are all equipped with Office 365. Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella, says “Companies looking to digitally transform need a trusted cloud.”

Microsoft offers a number of different Business and Enterprise Plans for Office 365 depending on what you’re looking for. All Office 365 plan options except for Business Essentials E1 include a full desktop version of Microsoft Office suite. Included is a variety of business essentials to keep your organization running smoothly such as business class email, online meetings and an Intranet site for your team.

  1. Business class email – Access your emails, calendars, and contact information from any web-enabled device, and sync across all of your devices in real time.
  2. Online meetings – conduct an unlimited number of online meetings with options for one-click screen sharing and video conferencing.
  3. Intranet site for your team – Keep your organization’s private materials restricted to your internal team with customizable security settings.

Previously mentioned, Microsoft has a way for you to conduct online meetings. Office 365 customers can now create their own online-reservation websites. Microsoft recently announced that its online work productivity suite added a new service called Microsoft Bookings, allowing businesses with a special website offering as an interactive calendar that companies can use as an online booking service for their customers. In the coming months Microsoft Bookings will be available to all Business Premium customers.

Another advantage of Microsoft’s recently announced Bookings product? It is hosted in Microsoft’s cloud data centers allowing users to access in from many different devices.
